Belgian Chocolate and Walnut Brownie.
YIELD -10 Pieces
Ingredients-
CHEFS TIP-
Serve with whipped cream , clotted cream or ice cream.
300g of good quality cooking chocolate.
200g unsalted butter
230g caster sugar
5 eggs
125g All-purpose flour.
150g walnut.(broken) or cashew (optional)
Method .
Cut the chocolate into small pieces and put in a metal bowl with the butter and set over a pan with water in on a low heat until melted.
Whisk the eggs and sugar to a stiff sabayon stage.
Slowly add the chocolate and flour to the egg mixture, slowly mixing.
Finally mix in the walnuts
Pour into a suitable baking tray lined with baking paper.
Bake for 20 Minutes at 200 degrees.
The Brownie should still be slightly soft in the middle before you remove from the oven.
Leave to cool at room temperature
Serve with whipped cream or Clotted cream.
