Belgian Brownie

Belgian Chocolate and Walnut Brownie.

YIELD -10 Pieces

Ingredients-


CHEFS TIP-

Serve with whipped cream , clotted cream or ice cream.

  • 300g of good quality cooking chocolate.

  • 200g unsalted butter

  • 230g caster sugar

  • 5 eggs

  • 125g All-purpose flour.

  • 150g walnut.(broken) or cashew (optional)


Method .

  • Cut the chocolate into small pieces and put in a metal bowl with the butter and set over a pan with water in on a low heat until melted.


  • Whisk the eggs and sugar to a stiff sabayon stage.


  • Slowly add the chocolate and flour to the egg mixture, slowly mixing.

  • Finally mix in the walnuts

  • Pour into a suitable baking tray lined with baking paper.

  • Bake for 20 Minutes at 200 degrees.


  • The Brownie should still be slightly soft in the middle before you remove from the oven.


  • Leave to cool at room temperature

  • Serve with whipped cream or Clotted cream.
